A regular wand is not a professional tool for steps IMO . It's like cleaning a couch with the floor wand
just to save time ..... changing tools is part of the job . laziness is no excuse for a customer to not receive professional service IMO. And I too agree steps are a PITA. I personally use a short wand with a glide until they invent a motorized one pass.

I tried the regular wand several times.  Results are fine and its much faster and easier on my back.

Thanks for the good advice.

you go over them side to side nicely with the vac hose to take out all the excess water.  <----------> both tops and risers

I tried the regular wand a couple of times.  I had trouble banging up the walls around landings.  Maybe I need to give it another try.  I do hate changing the tools.

Besides, if you guys are doing stairs at 500 psi with a regular wand, maybe I've been too worried about getting them dry.  I'll try it out and see what happens.

I have never got backaches from wanding steps....   you just go down enough steps so the the wand feels good....  and why the hell would you want to change tools in midstream????

I've been considering using one of Padman's OP handhelds for agitation.
