Safety 1910 I always ask the attendees at our IICRC certification course what they felt they actually were taking home with them that they learned by attending. The Best Ever Response One guy indicated while he was having lunch with another student he noticed this guy was not near as bright and knowledgeable as he himself yet the guy was charging 30% more for his service. He said what a wake up call that was and well worth the price of admission. |

I am proud of you. The only certification I have is 25 years of gossip, probing suppliers, friends, my competition, the internet and sometimes just plain experimenting on my own. And I call myself a master carpet cleaner. hahahaha.....actually I am..... You all call it a spotter, I still call it a spot remover sometines. Old habits hard to break.

I can remove more spots than you can.

Hi All,
This is for the newbies...like myself. I just got back from Atlanta. I took the IICRC class and got my Certified Carpet Technician cert. Awesome class and well worth the money. It costs $199 for the class, $50 for the certification. An instructor of many years will go over all the main points of carpet cleaning and topics such as spotting, determining different types of carpet fibers, industry ethics, etc., and will share alot of personal stories dealing with carpet cleaning. This class will answer just about any questions you have.....you also get to use some of the new equipment available. Good times!!! The test is 160 questions and most of the questions are covered in the class so if you pay attention, you will pass. |
