sarcasm or not, I'll answer seriuosly: The most of houses doesn't have carpets, cause they are built with some nice floors, and is not expensive to replace it. The problem is to deal with the construction workers. Maybe 2-3 of 10 have carpets. My main job is cleaning all kind of furnitures for home & office, and carpets in hotels, banks or restaurants. regards. |

My prices are not high here, but as I mentioned, there are some guys making massive advertising offering prices half than mine, so many customers get hooked by the low cost, leaving quality aside. They are ***uing the market. This is not a big deal in dollars, but plenty to complete my home expenses. The good thing is here are about 7 million souls, so I hope to fill my schedule little by little. I forgot to mention I work as a teacher too, so cleaning is a part time job. Thanks for your welcome! |

Well, I'm just introducing my self here after reading some topics.
I find this site interesting and useful. I work in Mexico, using a portable and being helped by my brother. Here is unthinkable to buy a truckmounted ($$), the market is based only in portables, and the prices are being pulled-down for some hungry guys who rather to sell once with low quality at a low price, than making solid customers. So I'm trying to sell a quality service, but not all the persons are ready to pay for it. I have been in carpet stuff for two years now, but I can't find the best way for advertising. I drop about 5000 flyers a month, and after a year I began to make calls to my previous "registered" customers to offer my services. But it's still slow... I hope to learn from you guys. Thanks.
