Adam. you can get away with 100ft. of hose for T&G. I don't think the heat will will really benefit you with the porty. It's hard for the heat on these porty's to keep up with the psi on T&G. Keep your min. psi for your spinner at 600psi. I believe the spinners require at least 500 psi or better to work efficiently.

Are you asking about hose length for carpet or tile? With tile I would guess that you can go as far as 100 feet and it will be able to keep up (I've never actually tried this, so it's a guess). On carpet, avoid ever going above 50 feet, but try to keep it at 25 or 35 (if you have to).
On the T&G machines, the gauge often doesn't work on the lower settings, so you have to guess, and even then you have no idea what the actual gpm is at that setting. It probably won't be that way with your machine, but I'm just warning you. Edited by FriendlyHammer - 27/October/2007 at 8:46pm |

Currently have the M12. Great unit. Love it. When/if you purchase one, do yourself a favor and check all the hose clamps to make sure they're tight. Also check your pump out float as sometimes they tighten them too much from the factory and they stick and it won't kick in to pump out and you have water all over the place. Hasn't happened to me but I've heard others mention it's happened to them.

I don't know anything about it. You want to make absolutely certain it has Lamb-Amatek vacuum motors in it. Check out the pump to make sure it's made by a good company. Most parts in most machines are made by the same great companies, but these days some motors are showing up that are not made by those companies. Be careful.
