I don't know what I'm doing different, but my rotovac has been the shizznit for me... Residential and Commercial! Especially after changing my felt rings a couple weeks ago, this thing has been a dam (a river's dam that is) miracle worker!

I can't believe you still have to scrub when you have a truck mount.
In that case I'll always stick with my $3000.00 Ninja and use my other $50 grand to flip houses. (the 50 grand you spend on a TM) :) Edited by splash_$$$_dash - 02/October/2007 at 9:00am |

How well do these machines work on commercial carpet?

I know what you mean there are fancier looking machines but I have "awed" many customers including myself with the dual head Rotovac

For a deep restorative cleaning and the right price I break out a 15" Hild for pre-scrubbing and a rotovac for extraction.
Otherwise, a grooming rake to agitate the pre-spray followed by a standard wand to do a regular top surface cleaning. Even Cliff Monson recommends using a rotovac for deep restorative cleaning and for impressing a circle of influence customer only. It is a "awh" getter, impressing the heck out of somebody watching you user it. Monson invented the RX-20, a nice 1st try at power extraction wands. And there is nothing wrong with it. Both do a great job although I would love to see a side-by-side video demo of the RX-20 and both rotovac units someday. |
