Have been in the carpet and upholstery business since 1983 in which I started with a franchise Chem-Dry. Was very dissatisfied with their lack of support. After 3 years and much of my hard work to bring Chem-Dry name recognition to the area they started selling additional franchises which became my direct competition. Also they changed their system to the rotary extraction method.
Needless to say I got out of the franchise contract when it came up for renewal and started a new company "Fiber-Dry" The CO2 Absorption Method
Hired a lab to produce a product that was far more superior to the product I received from Chem-Dry.
Life has been good and so is the business as I am marketing a company that is my own in which I reap the rewards.
Would like to hear about some ideas of obtaining residential accounts?
