Thanks Jack.  When you say stay away from the smaller units do you mean the Boxxer models?

Heard anything about the Maxx 450? I know you have a 470 and it looks like the 450 is pretty similiar just a smaller engine and vacuum blower.

Then I see the Boxxer 427 has a bigger engine at 27hp while the Maxx 450 has a 23hp. And the 427 has the same blower as your 470.
 
Its almost like the Maxx 450 is being replaced by the Boxxer 427 ya know? And the 427 costs a little less.
 
And the 427 has that new direct coupling from the engine to the blower and is supposed to be more reliable, quieter, etc...
 
Ugh I need to go lay down I think. My head hurts!

HI CRAIG THE HYDRAMASTER IS A VERY GOOD COMPANY THE 47D IS JUST THE RIGHT SIZE WITH HEAT 245 DEG, AND GREAT VACUM STAY AWAY FROM THE NEWER SMALLER UNITS SOMETHING WITH OVER HEATING, NOTHING TO DO WITH LIVING IN FLORIDA. ALSO STAY AWAY FROM WHITE MAGIC THEIR STILL HAVING LOTS OF PROBLEMS,I HAD A NEW SLIDE IN I PURCHASED IN 94 ALMOST WENT OUT OF BUSINESS IT WOULD,T RUN IT WAS STILL UNDER WARRENTY AND I PAID A FRIEND TO FIX THE MOTOR THEN TRADED IT IN ON THE HYDRAMASTER AND NOW THE LADIES SAY CALL JACK HE MAKES MY DIRTY WHITE CARPETS WHITE AGAIN..      JACK Z. How do you like the Hydramaster machine? The 470 is one I am considering purchasing soon. That and the Blueline.

You must really like to sweat in the hot humid Florida sun if your choice of cleaning is dirty white carpet. Unless of course you have a Rotovac.
