Good Luck Rick...............hope you stick around this site for awhile, most run away after getting shocked from asking a question . Like most " Prima Donnas " of their trade , carpet cleaners sometimes put themselves in a situation of rubbing shoulders with Doctors, Scientists, Chemists, and "astro NUTS"...............WANT TO KNOW WHAT I MEAN..............JUST ASK A QUESTION

Simply spend some time on this website and read the past posts. They can be very educational. Also take an IICRC course in your area. Take in trade shows, rub shoulders with other carpet cleaners. Purchase educational materail like Everything you wanted to know about carpet cleaning but were afraid to ask, by Jeff Bishop
There is no end to what is available to you.
Good Luck!

I'm Rick in West Virginia and I just wanted to say hi to everyone on the board. I'm new to carpet cleaning, although I've been doing duct cleaning for awhile. I bought a truck mount, a small one, a hydromaster spitfire that will fit in my astro van and hopefully I'll grow into a larger system soon. I would like to know your opionion of the best cleaners to use, preferably hypo-allergenic and where you get them from. Also, what did some of you do to learn the various techniques. Is there a place online to do this?
Thanks!
