3 Days?? Why the hell don't you just offer an apprentiship? I for one in most of these cases believe the 3rd is for nothing more than an extra bonus for the instructor with increases in the cost to students. I personally think most of the manuals are a joke. The cct course is not going to make you something you are not. On the job training is the only way to learn a trade not out of  make shift manuals thrown together with never ending changes to meet the ever changing test questions that are supose to make you an instant expert?

The CCT classes in Toronto always run overtime these days.
The sponsors and facility owners aren't too impressed. The students are demanding three days.
The fact is that it is the belief of most teachers that wicking is being mistaken for browning.
There just isn't cellulostic material in the stuff people are claiming are browning.
My classes focus on the point of jute backings, if you see one, this is what you do.
Us old schoolers had real browning problems a decade or more ago that just don't exist anymore.

Sounds like a good class, doug. I'm a bit envious, for sure, but I at least feel that my instructor, Doug Heifferman, did a great job despite the program changes. He's a great guy, and I'd be happy to take any industry class from him. Plus, he's really fun to impersonate. Big smile Word is that you're certified all over the place, doug. Ever thought of moving into the teaching arena?

Too bad none of you got to attend an OPCCA carpet cleaning course. I think my first IICUC carpet cleaning course I took from Ron Tooney and it was from 8 to 5 both days then the test which as I might say was much more complicated than todays questionaire? But people compalined it was too long it was too much to learn it was just too hard so?? Now you get what you pay for? Or not? I think back then the cost was $125 or $150 for the seminar. I attended most of my classes in the US.

Thank you Lee for stating the fact...there is only so much time... and it barely touched on in the class...

If you think the class has prepared your guys to go out and not brown carpet...

YOU'RE WRONG!

It's simple words of experience from a senior tech to a junior tech....

I remember my senior telling me...all the things that can casue browning...not the cct course...

and if you say it's in the program in your area THATS BULL S H I T...

we have had this debate here many times.....no need to go on with the samething
