Hi all,
I hadn't been to the Kleen Kuip site for sometime, so I was plesently surprised when I discovered this new discussion forum. I think this is an excellent idea to have ideas bounced around between those who have chosen this profession. For a little background, my father has been in the Carpet Cleaning game for 40 years and I grew up assisting him since the time I could walk (or crawl with a wand) As time went on I slowly found myself becoming a pretty good cleaner myself, and have been full-time since finishing my university degree 5 years ago. For those old enough to remember, I attended many O.P.C.C.A. meetings before its dissolvement, and I am sure that the networking that I had during those times can be achieved through forums like these. I'm wondering if there are any more 2nd (or 3rd) generation carpet cleaners out there who grew up in the business like I did. Would love to hear from you. Johnny |
