Hi park, If you want your jobs to look good. 1. PRE-VACUUM well all the carpet you are going to clean 2. PRE-SPRAY with a good PRE-spray and rake in with a carpet rake what you can clean in 15min 3. SET-UP and Fill your Mytee with hot hot tap water plus detergent, rinse, or DFC by Chemspec depending on your PRE-spray 4. PRE-SPRAY next area and rake 5. RAKE first area again 6. turn on your Mytee, start with the farthest spot place your wand down and pull trigger as you pull to wards you, let go of the trigger for the last 2"-4" 7. push the wand back along the same path dry and then pull it back dry 8. push it back up and over to the side, over lap the first pass by 25% 9. 6-7-9 until done 10. PRE-SPRAY 3rd area clean 2nd repeat until done * Start with the farthest area from where you will leave * PRE-spot tar & gum - post-spot most others * Wipe the baseboards with a white rag at the end * Rub all the stair edges with a rag as-well * Rake cut-pile when done * add a fan if you need it to dry fast Hope this helps, Roger |

Hi....I'm a property manager who just purchased a Mytee 1000 portable steam cleaner. Any advice on how to properly use it would be appreciated. I purchased it to do small jobs where the carpet is not to dirty. On big jobs with really soiled carpets I call on my regular carpet guy.
Thanks....park |
