Latent spills can be murder Doug, we all know that. This is why I have just purchased two more pad machines. These olefin berbers are just plain bad for latent spills. At the same time a good pre inspection does help. If you know the spot has wicked up after the customer tried to clean it, whether the customer even bothered to try and clean it, if the stain is larger in size etc. We quality check all our jobs including redoes within 48 hours. We know that spots will wick up and we want the opportunity to rectify the problem. Its a tough situation and even tougher on the technicians. Why are you so grumpy anyways???? |

Mr. Steamer: I am glad all the high end perfect cleaners are in the GTA trying to clean 20 houses a day. Another thing I don't need you or Lee Senter to tell me how to clean a carpet or operate my turck mount. You can save that for you high paid help. Another thing Steamer you are starting to sound like Waldo accusing me of overwetting carpets. Kiss my A$$.

Just don't over wet... you'll be fine doug... I know you like to run your truck at 1000 psi... but some times you have to slow down to clean the roses... turn it down to 350 psi... Listen its hot and Humid ...it's the right thing to do |

Lee: Maybe wicking in the GTA is visible before you are finisned cleaning?? Maybe we are not on the same wave length. I am referring to a spot that appears after cleaning that was not visible before cleaning not a spot that came back that was visible prior to cleaning. Make sense??

Don't get angry now Doug. Wicking can be prevented by using one of the best (and forgotten about) products available....Absorb-a-Spill. Why is this not standard on every truck?? |

No matter which way you look at it, wicking is a result of incomplete soil removal.

The glide on the end of the wand cannot have any affect on the air in a room you are cleaning. A/C windows open etc will affect that. But I know the glide has been a big help to us, and I have ot thank Lisa and SGK for that.

a glide will decrease dry times so I think it will help as long as it's a green or Super glide |
