Don't own it.

If there are reacurring conditions you shouldn't have to go back and do it again on your own dime.  Advise your customer that this could be the case.  These types of stains don't magically appear out of no where.  I have seen stains the customer was sure were "wicking back" end up being leaking pipes.  Take a moisture meter.  If it's wet before you start, it most likely will still be wet after the rest of the carpet is dry, and probably wet the next day.  The old saying what you say before the job is your professional opinion, what you say after is an excuse.

I would use an anti browning agent, bonnet the area, and put a fan on it.

Let us know how it turns out.

Spray it with Browning Treatment and bonnet it in.

If that doesn't work try Boost All/Buff All and a bonnet.

Pad it or use a rotary with a cotton pad to remove it.
