You can dramatically increase your income if you know how to maximize your back-end. For example, I repair carpet as a speciallity but I also market high end vacuums. Every 3 or so repairs I do, I make an extra $200.00 or so on a vacuum.  Also, I refer carpet cleaning to a carpet company and New Carpet and floors to another company. I get a good commission from each of them. I hope this helps you.

My first boss/ good friend is doing it. he owns 7 vans. He sends out 4 vans daily with a tech and a helper. Gross per month is anywhere from 45,000 - 65,000

techs get 30% - 35% sales(pays for own gas)/helpers get 10%- 15%

so anything is possible once you get your name out there i guess. Thats how big i want to be doing it. Its all in how you want to handle business to. Eather you got a carpet cleaner who can do sales or you have a salesman who cleans carpets.

There is a LOT more money to be made in tile and stone cleaning/sealing/restoration than carpet cleaning.

Well think about this:

3 crews each make 200 a day(on the low side) mon to fri thats 1000 a week per crew

crew 1   4000/month       ;           ;   48,000
         2   4000/month       ;           ;  48,000
        3    4000/month      ;           ;    48,000

         &nbs p;         &nbs p;         &nbs p;         &nbs p;          14 4,000 per year or less(slow times)

don't forget you have to pay your people and all the ad costs and there is slow times of the year jan, feb, march..... its a hard company to run......

If you have the drive to make $250,000 a year then you work around the clock with no reagrd to the calander. THe goal is to make money while you are sleeping. The journey man is right 250000 a year is possible with the a Professional Code of Ethics. Say NO to the "bait and switch"

Stay away fro Cho Paulish and some of the others. His bull$it is, unless you dance to his music, you're not an "ethical" cleaner.Him and Howard Partidge (using the same shill) claim $265,000 from ONE truck. If you e-mail me I can point you to some quality help for marketing and help you avoid the less than ethical.
