The difference is $500.00?

No it is not John L. The Challenger is comparable to the blue ccs ocsillator, in no way is it comparable to the Conqueror. First off, it doesn't matter which motor the challenger has, a 1/2 is all it needs, it does NOT have the 40% higher oscillation that the Conqueror series has. It cleans at the SAME speed as the blue oscillator, which btw is being GIVEN away with a Conqeuror breeze this month.

SO if you are comparing machines, at least make sure you are comparing THE SAME machines. The Blue machine is $1399.00. So the Challenger is higher priced.

John: I have looked at both machines, and IMHO, the $500 extra you pay for one of John's machines is money well spent. It cleans better, cleans faster and in general is a better built machine for the dollar. Remember: The taste of poor quality is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is long forgotten.

John I am curious on your question too. Before you make your purchase you should wait and see if there is any difference. You have a week be patient.

John,

Maybe you should ask on the CCS board. I'm sure Padman will answer you there. Of course you will get some sarcasm there as well. It seems that threads get hijacked regularly on every board.
