ysc5,

The 3 to 5 gallons of water per minute is restricted by the orfus in the wand jets. Most bring you down to approx. 1 1/2 gallon per minute. The reason for the high volume flow capability is if you choose to use your truckmount also as a pressure washer then you need water volume + pressure.

Generally if you go through this volume of water you will lose heat drastically unless you have a high heat truckmount. Make sure whoever sells you this truckmount that they have all the answers.

Steamer, you said you don't use a glide personally. Have you had a
chance to try them?

I had a chance to use one from Lisa today for the first time and This old
Dog (going on 24 years with the wand) learned a new trick today. I
cleaned from 9 to 2:30 with a standard two jet wand with a glide.

At 10:30 I went back to the starting point and I could not believe that it
was 99.99% Dry. I have never seen anything like this. I am going to be
testing it out on other types of carpets next week but.

I am the type that has to hear it or do it several times before i am a true
believer so the testing will go on. But , MY First impression is
" WHy didn't I think of this" .

you might also have a cogged wand or hose....  the hg will be up at the truck, but the blockage could be in the wand or hose....
