Hello,
I run the office for my brother who has been in the business for almost 20 years and is set in his ways of doing things. Some things I would like to change but I have to have ALL my research done before going to him with a change in anything. 

Would like some ideas on what you do when you get a call from someone out of state and they want their carpets cleaned. We get alot of this and normally don't have any problems collecting. Sometimes they'll have a friend with a key or a realtor that will let us in. We don't accept credit cards unless they are a late pay and we add 5% to the invoice as a late fee, not for taking the credit card. 
So do you have them sign anything first stating that they will pay before you do the job? Would love to hear your ideas.
