The whole world is not always waiting for discounts. Yes, many businesses survive & thrive on doing business with people who are looking for value and excellence. Listen to Mr. Steamer. Some claim he is full of sh*t. But read between the lines and you will see he reeks of confidence. And once you get confidence selling just oozes from your body language without you even knowing it's happening. There is an ora around you that says "I offer quality and value." People sense it very quickly. Most carpet cleaners I have met lack cleaning know-how and confidence. I have an old carpet cleaner friend who always has a cute phrase that works for him whenever you tell him that ABC Cleaner will do it $60 dollars cheaper. His comeback is "Well I guess he knows what his service is worth." So where do you get confidence? Libraries, schools, videos, CD's, websites... www.bigbangmg.com They people who say they were born with it are usually full of BS. It takes dedication. Work Smarter, Not Harder |

Ted: The whole world is not waiting for a discount. But all they have to do is turn on the TV, radio, pickup the news paper or magazine and guee what? It does not take long before most think they are entitled to some kind of discount. In most ads there is very little talk of quality, service or guarantees just disconunts and low priceing. The problem large masses of advertisings are making people dumb (uneducated) and small masses of people are working hard trying to educate them. Some and very few at that know exactly what they want, deserve and expect. The rest are at the mercy of Bu**sh*t baffles brains.
