I am new to carpet cleaning so bear with me. I have a Mytee 1003.
Can I use a 2" instead of a 1-1/2" hose? Is so, what is the advantage of using 2" hose instead of 1-1/2".
At what length do you notice significant performance loss for a portable unit?
What is the typical process for applying a neutralizing rinse?
Mytee

If you are using a Mytee with 2 3 stages in parellel then 2" vacuum hose is better
by quite a bit! And you should be able to go 100 feet with it as well!
However if your Mytee has 2 2 stages then in my opinion 1 1/2 inch vac hose
will do better up to 30 feet or so.
If your Mytee has 2 3 stages in series again in my opinion you will be better using
1 1/2 inch vacuum hose up to 50 feet.
I hope this helps if not ask what you do not understand.
