I want to clean my carpet with one of those foam spray cleaners, but I
have a bagless vacuum. I know they use to have a disclosure of "not for
use with bagless vacuums". Is this still true?

It's a huge mistake to use that foam on your carpet. Hire a professional. It's cheaper in the long run.
