I've recently acquired a Van with a 1994 (or 1994-96) Spitfire 3.2 that is currently suffering from some Mechanical issues. I'd like very much to do as much of the repairs myself. However, I have very limited mechanical knowledge.
First thing, It dies after running for 3-5 minutes. I looked up the troubleshooting section and according to the previous owner, the most likely problem lies with the PCV Valve. After taking a few of the metal panels off I couldn't find it, so I figured I'd ask in case anyone else has had this issue. any help/advice would be welcome, thanks

You likely have an electrical problem. Perhaps the Coil?....Does the engine fire back up after it has cooled down?

Under the air filter housing is the PVC valve. Do you have oil in the air filter housing
at the entrance of the pvc tube? If so, then you have a bad PVC valve.

Did you get it running right? We would like to know. So many cleaners post problems and never tell us what it was. Thats how others learn.. Anyways........
Have you tried running with air filter off.
I had a oily air filter and it wouldn't keep running.
Changed it and it ran fine. Starving for air is what it was doing!
