What is the best way to stop freezing up your truckmount in the winter. I was told run windsheild wiper fluid through the unit until it comes out of the wand. What do you guys do?

Mine are all parked in a heated garage.
You can also put heaters inside the vans

Electric radiator heater from walmart kmart walgreens. Set one on each side on low and if your van is WELL insulated it will stay above freezing inside when its below 0 outside...
I would be cautious with window wash fluid... some types freeze when its reeeeeeel cold.

Make sure you use very heavey extension cords. There is no guarantee of not kicking out a breaker. I just would.t chance it. My vans are inside all covered up for the cold nights?

Thats for sure doug. 14 gauge minimum. 2 Oil filled radiator heaters on low will run 1200 watts (600w each) v.s. one on high at 1500 watts.

Don't buy cheap electric heaters, you will burn them out in a season or less!
