What is everybody using for high pressure hose on their tm. I have been using the blue Good Year hose for quite a few years and was wondering what everyone is using. I have not been impressed with the Good Year hose.

same here doug.... 1 dollar a foot... there was a recall on the Goodyear hose last year... they made millions of ft defective...... you'll find it will crack break and burn easy.... I know where you can get real good stuff but your looking 3 to 5 dollars a foot... hose isn't hose... I also got a real good shut off valve... not those cheapies everyone else use... a good 35 dollar stainless steel valve Runnalls in Brampton... it might be expensive but these guys will spec out what you need |

I've just recently started using the black Syn Flex Hose. It is very flexible and seems to hold the temperature better (although I've performed no formal tests to validate this claim) but I must admit I am still very nervous about using it. The pressure rating is lower than the Neptune and the flexibility makes me question its strength. But so far so good. |

because i had two of the blue hoses burst within 48 hours. ive had those repaired but i'll only use them as a backup and only outside the home. i've heard good reports on the syn-flex, but hearing and experiencing are two very different animals.

I have had the blue hose go in people's homes. But until I find something better I guess I will keep using it. One thing for sure I would not gamble and use cheap and hope for the best.

i had a hard time finding ANY synflex hose ANYwhere, but what i did find cost me more than the neptune which ive found for as little as $1.15/ft for 100' w/ qd's. i am not looking for a cheaper alternative...i am looking for a more reliable one. |
