Well Rick, what you get by parallel placement is more AIRFLOW, not more Suction(waterlift). So depends what you want. I understand that both types of machines will continue to be offered, at least in the USA. Great to have choice.

Rick;

In Canada, I would stay with the original Ninja that has the vac motors in series. My US distributors tell me that people that own both machines like it(the series machine) better. Seems that the 2 stage motors in the parallel machine does not dry as well as the series machine.Not enough waterlift.Down there however there is a simple fix for that. They can put 3 stage motors in instead and run it on a 20 amp service.

In Canada we dont have those 20 amp service plugins. So unless you are willing to add a 2nd cord to it and make your machine non-CSA complient, I would stay with the series machine instead.

Ken, i was meaning dual 3 stage vacs with 2 cords. if they are made like that then they should be CSA approved? am i missing something here? i know ninja has a 500 PSI model(old style) with only 1 3 stage vac but you can still get duals with the 2 cords. in other words i am looking at the new warrior made in CANADA if it will come with the dual 3 stage 2 cord system. maybe they don't make them like that anymore? thanks RICK.

Rick;

Best to check with Ted about which version is coming to Canada. I agree with you that if the 2 3 stage model is going to be sold here that will be great. I really like the new body style. I just like to have a machine with decent power is all.

Just had a look at a Warrior yesterday. It is a great looking m/c but I don't know how you would move that thing around in a house let alone get it in there in the first place. This unit is HUGE. Plus it also weighs about 130 lbs. I think I'll stay with something small that won't kill you.

portable should be left at the front door and not moved around the house.

use a machine with big vacs and run 50' hose

simple as that.

With a vac booster, yes.  Or in the garage if it leads to the laundry room where the 220v connection is.  Depends on the size of the house I guess.

Not sure about that.  Depends on the customer and how they feel about the machine beiing in their home.  Most don't mind at all. For sure that is the practical way if outlets are close by and they're able to support the 20 amps my machine demands.

I have autofill and pump out on my Mytee M5 and I like the fact that it does away with the bucket brigade. If the custy doesn't mind I go into the kitchen with my machine and I have enough hose to get where I need to. I simply leave out the back door so the carpet is left clean and groomed.

Us portable folks have to be flexible...LOL!  Being able to please the custy is the main thing! Smile

How do you like the M5?  It doesn't have heat, correct?  Have you added an external heater to it?  I am stuck between M5 w/ dual 3 stage and no heat vs the M3 is dual 2 stage with heat.  How do you like the auto fill/dump options?
