What the %&#@ is happening to our industry?

Kleen Kuip has attempted to spice up the summer doldrums by offering pricing that could put us into bankruptcy if we continue. We have offered between 40% and 25% discounts on our quality products. Under our http://www.kleenkuip.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=506&PN=1 - Bargain Basement Specials our top of the line used but not abused equipment is selling for less than we paid for it.

And sales are down, down, down.

Is everyone going through a similar downturn?

It seems especially we can't give Truckmounts away and anyone who is serious about doing quality plus volume you can't beat without a Truckmount. Their has never been a better time to buy!

doug's carpet cleaning might not come back, doug's carpet cleaning won't pay for new carpeting, doug's won't reclean and refund the money..who is doug????? I know sears

Too many small guys do a crap job and people want a company name they can trust, are you joking. These big companies have such a turn around of employee's that haven't got a clue how to clean a carpet it's scary to think of the kind of work they do.

Fortunately I am wise to the industry and you are right people go for the name and have the regrets later. Boy can you tell your on the payroll.

Steamer what are you a carpet cleaning spy. Do you chance around the people that work for these companies to know who they employee what equipment they use, and do you also know their profit margin.
