I bet all you people with PTO's are crying in your soap right now, with these gas prices....I wish both my trucks where slide-in's

I'll spend and average of 35 bucks a day with truck and slidein

and the PTO always costs at least 50 bucks a day

who's feelin it???

I've been preaching this for years now. It is inevitable that gas will rise. But you have to sell what people want. Sometimes I lose sales because I am too persistent to save a customer money.

Thanks for the reinforcing.

The thing is Ted PTO's is so much easier for the dummies to use.....A slide-in you have to be a master....

I burn at least 1000 bucks of fuel a month in my slide in.... the PTO burns at least 1500......

it's a lot of money to put out every month

I run a PTO

I like the idea of a slide in more because of the fact that you're not reving up the van all day

Pto's are great if you have employees though,it doesn't get much simpler than 3 switches and the engine gets warmed up on the way to the job

I run a slide in on average runs about 6-8 hours a day costs me about
$12 a day and less wear and tear on my van engine. i have a 3 tier heat
exchanger so pre heating the water is not an isue i have 21o degrees in
about 5 minnutes.
