| I went out to a video store and measured there carpet and it was 3900 sf. So I gave them a bid for $624.00 at .16 a sf. I called them back and they said that is way to high and the last time they had there carpet cleaned It was like $300.00. How long should it take to clean 3900 square feet of carpet ? |

Is it 3900 sq ft of carpet or is the store 3900 sq ft and you are only cleaning 75% of the store? You can make money at .07 cents only in this case I am sure it is late night work plus lots of gum on the carpet. I would have to agree with Ken (as much as I hate it). Cimex can get you in and out fast.

I cleaned a 2850sq ft commercial building....pretty clean already except for 1 coffee stain. I did a pre vac and post vac...plus mex...1 1/2 hours.

Cimex advertised 1500-2000 sq ft per hr. BUt, I think thats a bit of a stretch. If you got dirty carpets (which it probably is)....Then its most likely to take a bit longer.
