Felt a loss of power when I was using my truck mount. It felt like the suction was half power. The throttle was full blast. It felf as if there was a clog in the line. I shut it down and cleaned out the hose. turned it on and off a few times and it then got back its normal suction power. what can it be?? Also how many times a year should I shoot greese into the nipples on the vac mother on the truckmount? I cleaned the orfice & I replaced the gas filter after the job.

Maybe you hit a soap patch... happens all the time... the custy used dish soap...you hit it...suction goes down...defoamer is the way ------------- www.mr-steamer.com |

Thats right there was a couple of soap patches on the carpet. When I was going over them they got very white I kept going over them until it was gone. Mr. Steamer must have cleaned it before you???? He still uses HIDE??? Pour some defoamer into the hose?? I haven't use defoamer in years?? ------------- Just My opinion |

hide has nothing to do with it.....lol
sometimes you hit a soapy patch....
if it's a bad spot you may need a bit of defoamer...
I havent used it myself... by the time you run to the truck...the suction will return....
I bet my hide cleans better than yours douggie
