  • Is it smart marketing or BS?
  • Is it true or BS?
  • Does it work? or BS?
  • Would you offer this service?
  • Would you offer this service then use aggressive chemicals?
  • Would you want this service in your home?
  • Are you a believer?

D.F.C. is around the corner

The day is coming when we better be prepared not only to advertise, but carry through with a more responsible cleaning system, and am glad to say our testing with DFC105 has proven to me that I can and will promote a detergent free cleaning program for our residential and commercial clients.

Don't believe the hype... the customers wont...

unless your like Lisa who is willing to drink her cleaning solutions to show that their safe...

most people just want the carpet clean...I had one customer a few weeks ago get mad at me because I wouldn't use rust remover on his carpet like the last guy....

I don't use rust remover...

He didn't care he just wanted the rust spot out....  I told him the possible after effects ...still he didn't care..

promoting this cleaning is great ...but believe me it falls on deaf ears when it comes to the customers

I have had two or thre customers ask about the safety of my cleaning solutions in all my years of cleaning. When more ask, I will address the issue.

All advertising is believed by 50% of the people who read it, therefore whatis marked on his truck makes sense to those who have concerns.

I can mark the exact opposite and also reveive 50% of the people believing it.

What it boils down to is that people are sheep, and follow the leader, The leader is the advertising companies telling them how much whiter their shirt can be, what cigarette to smoke, what beer to drink, and what toilet paper is the sofest.

Yep.

Big friggin deal buster. You don't like my truck.

Who cares? Who are you?

I paid a guy to paint it last year and the rust care back this year.

The truck has been booked for a rust removal next Tuesday and then painted.

Our advertising has decreased 100% in the last year and business has stayed the same.

I don't need to impress you sir.

You guys should start worrying about your own health and not the homeowner who is only exposed to your toxic chemicals once a year. By the looks of some of your posts the damage has already taken place. Yes it won't be long before the detergent free laundry detergent is available. The carpet cleaner is just the first of a complete line of DFC products.

Now go make an appointment with your doctor to see just how much damage those toxic chemicals have caused.

Hey just because the truck is a sh*tbox does not mean you're not a nice guy. I know of many TM's in the GTA that look 10x worse than yours

The human body is somewhat of a miracle machine, no matter how much we use it, abuse it, stretch it, burn it, freeze it and fill it with toxins over the years, it has it's own built in repair mechanism and is very resilient. A smoker after 20 years, just has to quit for 6 years to have his lungs actually rejuvinate themselves and release tar and toxins through coughing and spitting. Taking into consideration the average Canadian carpet cleaner works 8 months per year and has an average career of 2 to 20 years. I don't see a concern here at all.

John I commend you for all the links you have put on this board to help out the forum members. Too bad the carpet cleaners in your area missed out on a good guy.

I have to tell you John that a minute is sometimes all the time you got. Nothing wrong with that over a cup of coffee.
