 Hi guy's new to the site a quick question, any of you guy's experience customer's complaining of using their hydro and or water. I'm considering going with a quality portable unit. I just wondered if customer's get a little ticked off when you are running two or more cords along with possible water hose , with the size and output of some of these portables and then possibly using a rotary scrubber and heated water I'm sure they feel that you are using alot of their hydro. If you show up on site with a fully contained truck mount it won't even cross their minds obviously. Are any of you guy's maybe running a generator or possibly offer customer's a small hydro discount on the bill I can only imagine that professional carpet cleaners must have come across this issue. Like I said I'm new to this site and looking to possibly add carpet cleaning  as option for our business and customers.Thanks inadvance for any input

I have been in this business for many years and have never had the issue arise. It's just not a big deal. With the exception of the water damage business where you take in air movers and dehumidifiers. Then you should mention the issue to your customer.

I totally agree with The Great , experienced, and honorable Hardini above. (Hope I haven't missed anything?!-LOL)

Never ever had an issue with your concerns, "if" you are using a common sense system. What do I mean by this statement?

Well, if someone tries to sell you a machine or you select a system where it requires running off 220-240v; that is, moving the customers washer/dryer/stove, in order to connect, then you'll have many, many customer problems and you will stepping into potential liabilities!

Just be a smart buyer and only purchase from someone, like Hardini for example, who makes: "Common-Sense" with you in mind and your best interests.

Best always;
