Go with the traditional 12 inch wand the 16 is huge. Once you use the 12 the difference is drier carpet , very light wand. The glider on that is awesome;
more jobs, more money, less sweat.

sure get mixed opinions on this wand, thinking of getting one . so is the 16 inch too big or is it just like anything else where if you ask 10 people you get 10 different opinions.

They have two different sizes and I can tell you this much you try the smaller version (standard) and it will the best wand you ever used.

the evolution is a ridiculous  piece of equipment to drag around let alone clean someones house with. I've used it and will never use it again. bigger is not always better. "id rather clean 6 RMS with a furniture tool than ever use that again.

I also have the 360i and I use it 90% of the time. Requires minimal effort my only thing is I need someone to pull the hoses with the power cord it is now 3 hoses and
it can be frustrating. I might  try a velcro strap so i can quick one set rather than 3 individually

Well the evolution is good but so is the rotovac 360i and
the dhx powerwand. I also hear the zipper is pretty cool
also.

Sure

In Canada the right place to look is Kleen Kuip; owner of this site.

For those in the USA, the right place to look is on my site. I can't post the link because of board rules, but you will find new wands there for as low as $69.00.Wink

thanks for the priceless input! wasn't too impressed with the stryker to be honest but the guy kept raving about how well it preforms yada yada..... I am having issues with streaking and am thinking the single jet is a great option. either case thanks for saving me a bundle!

The Stryker does clog. I could not recommend it. There are good wands available for under $100 if you know where to look, so this does not have to be a tough choice.

I heard directly from a distributor that the wand is not very good at all and he didn't even want to sell me one because he felt that it needed further development. Apparently it clogs easily, doesn't spray the carpet evenly and has a host of problems. Multi-jet wands are more prone to streaking. I personally like the Hydramaster Hydrahoe because it has one jet and shoots a nice, even spray. It also handles nicely with a glider on it.
