I am about to purchase the following. I was talking to the compaines rep, which could not seem to answer my questions...if you can help,
then please feel free to answer my questions..
Mytee 1003DX Speedster Deluxe Portable Box Extractor - Heated - 12 Gallon
1. They only sell 25' ft of hose, my question for this machine is
what is the max hose length this machine can handle without
loosing suction and without having to add a booster....? I just can not imagine hauling this lug up and downstairs, I would rather the machine stay in one spot, and
I move where i need to go with the hose only...
1a if a booster is needed, would a booster work on this machine..
the rep never even heard of a booster...imagine that...
2. I also noticed this machine goes on a 220v outlet...how do you guys
handle this...outlets normally are not in the most of convient places
to begin with...normally at the bottom of the floor behind the washer/dryer.
3. Can this unit operate without a 220v adaptor? or would it
be wise just to get one regardless. I have heard the machine
can run on both 110 and 220, but I do not know how reliable the info is.
Thank-You for your help.

where are you from? if the rep does not know what a booster is then he probably knows nothing about this business...dont buy from him he's a total tool.

you can run the machine without 220, just dont use the heater. electric heaters are somewhat useless on portables when doing carpet cause they cant keep pace with pump flow. they are ok when doing upholstery. if you insist on heater use, usually bathrooms have 20amp outlets, along with most kitchens, and utility rooms, but the risk of popping breakers will always be there.
boosters are a dime a dozen. steambrite sells one that screws directly onto mytee waste tanks.

My suggestion is to do alittle more research and use your valuable purchase dollars getting the "right machine"
