We are curently in the market to add to our extracor line up. I am trying to decide between the Ninja 500 psi with heat and the advantage 400 by US products.
Our curent line up is all Esteam. We have a flood master and E1700 and 3 smaller ninjas with out heat.
We are looking for one with heat so we can perform hot water flush around the bottom plate of walls, after the dry wall has been removed. In sewer back up losses.
I would also entertain a portable inline heater if we can find one that will get hot enough fast enough.
Any input is welcome

Well the advantage is not CSA aproved so thats out of the question.
Alternative is the King Cobra 500 by US Products.

The big issue is electrical supply. Most heating units in the US require 20 amp service. We do have a few spot in the average Canadian home or business that is 20 amps but you would need two locations. You would then need two long extension cords and all of the other hastles and a converter for your dryer or stove plug. yadda yadda yadda. What are you going to do in an apartment where there isn't a dryer plug? You could try a stove plug but you are risking your extractor if the wiring is higher than 20 amp.
If we were wired up like Americans in our homes, I would have went with a MYTEE. |

If you have had a Ninja in the past then this should be a no-brainer.
Stick with a reliable good thing. I am not so sure that any inline heater will keep up. Maybe one that is made by KleenRite that equals 220 power by using 2 110 electric cords may work. Is the principal behind this flushing of suds to kill with heat or simply flush? If it's kill then a live steamer is your answer. If it's flush you most likely need a higher PSI than portable extractors offer. Have you looked at Electrostatic Spraying?...efficiency + stealth...hits it's mark everytime. |

The purpose of a flush is to have the 180 deg water flush out and kill off the bacteria left under the sill plates after a sewer back up. The process is to remove the wet drywall and if the studs are in good condition you can flush with hot water. You don't want to much presure as the water may not contact. it may just blast right past.
I have recently spoke to a guy that is useing a US Products King Cobra 300 for this and he claims that it works great.
