Thanks Cmaster
I used a bonnet , with water...but because of the previous stains, I was very careful not to over wet....The carpet has no pile, is of a commercial grade, and when I left it felt nearly dry, with no stains. The carpet is manufactured by shaw industries, and is 100% nylon, with a stain protection at time of manufacture. It has a commercial grade felt backing,. Hope this helps guys....NEVER seen this happen before! It did feel |

Sounds like overwetting and wicking to me. What process and equipment did you use?

Hi Guys
I really need some help with this one... I cleaned a office the last week, and after cleaning a HUGE stain appeared that was not there before, so I came back and tried to clean it again a few times. This weekend they had me clean their conference room, but being wary of the carpet, I only used water, no detergents, no solutions, plain old water. Initially the carpet look great, but I went there again today, and the whole room has huge stains....this carpet seems to really good, its like new, and less than 8 months old. Now the company are having someone else clean the carpets, and if the stains do not come out I will have to have them replaced....ANY IDEAS GUYS...WHAT CAN BE CAUSING THIS?? I really appreciate your help Many Thanks Bub |
