Nope. You are all wrong. The Titan SVS-4 machine does have 300" of lift to it and it puts out more cfm under working conditions than any other Ninja out there.
The SVS-4 uses 4 vacs in total. The first 2 are 3 stage vacs in series. Then 2 more 2 stage vacs are added on right behind them. That raise the lift up to 300", which is a whole lot better than the stock 220" the stock machine will do. The power Kit I sell to bring your Ninja up to this level contains 2 -2 stage vac motors, mounting brackets for the extra 2 motors, hose connectors for the vacs and electrical connectors to wire it into the electrical system. And the instruction book on how to do this right. Total cost- only $499. A Bargain. The example of what a 4 vac system could do made up entirely of 2 stage vacs was to show that 240" lift was all that system could do, rather than the marketing claim of 340" being made. Now on the cfm front, the simple fact is that a Ninja will not put out more than 30 cfm while cleaning carpet, because the stock vac power is not great enough to overcome the resistance of the wand contacting the carpet while cleaning.Bringing the lift up to 300"WL changes all that. Now the machine will bring in 50 cfms, which is a 60% improvement over it's original cfm number. The rest of the noise from Friendly is just the usual blathering nonsense he is famous for here. It has no basis of fact so is best ignored. Edited by Superglide Ken - 20/August/2007 at 5:01pm |

Barfbag Ken, the cfm can't be any higher than a single vac unit. The rpms of each in a series are about the same (slightly less) than a single vac BY ITSELF. A Ninja with 1 vac will be about 100 cfm, and a parallel of 2 will have about 200 cfm. Get real. It's like using a car to pull a load. If we add a car to a chain of cars, together they can pull more than a single car (waterlift). However, chained together they can't go any faster than a single car, no matter how many more cars we chain together (cfm). You're a liar, Ken. And a 100' hose is going to require the Ninja, not your piece of crap. Edited by FriendlyHammer - 21/August/2007 at 12:20am |
