Does anyone have any sales lines that will work to sell extra products or services???Lets see if we can get a few up so we can all increase our sales..... Selling Deodis in an empty house when the customer is moving in is my favorite....I tell 1 of 2 stories I always start off by saying.."you never know what they last people where doing here" Then comes the atheletes foot story...or my sex on the carpet story(the UV light works great in the master bedroom for this one) I score 100% everytime...they never fail another one is Selling Deodis in the basement...you're not worth your salt if you can't sell deodis in the basement.... we all know if you clean the basement without you're promoting the growth of mold and fungis.. those 2 words mold....fungis cha-ching never fails... does anyone else have a few tips... I would love to hear them |

Mr. Steamer: I was not going to comment in this form for various reasons. But Just what deodorizer are you using that has any affect what so ever on mould?. If anything you may contribute to it by trying to mask it. As far as deodorizers go when asked we want to know what their problem is to require a deodorizer and explain that a deo just masks the problem and until the source have been neutralized they are wasteing their money. But that is just my opinion.

I have a deadly disinfectant that works great. my tank never smell like sh*te...if they have kids rolling around the carpet they always ask for it to be "disinfected and sanitized" works like a charm for flood jobs too.. anyway that's my line....the thing with the kids rolling around etc... ps. the product smells great too a bit like lemon. There is only one fungicide available that I am aware of that does not have to be thoroughly rinsed out and that is Benefect. I can't believe you Stanley with your "I'm not telling you" attitude. Anyways, I always found that when you say "you need" to the customer it works better than asking them to buy. No one likes to be sold, everyone likes to buy. |

Maybe I am wrong but I sure as hell have a problem with all these chemicals being applied to freshly cleaned carpets. Are these products residule , how long are they active? All this kind of scares me. I have a problem introduceing anythng into someones indoor enviroment with all the chemical sensitivity and everyones reaction to different chemicals is it worth it knowing you are doing absolutely nothing but making the house smell for a couple of hours as long as no one gets sick for thart extra $25.00 or whatever.

why can't we stay on topic doug...whats your line...????if you don't have one don't post.... I don't spray on Deo after...I put it in the pre-spray...the way it was designed...chem spec has that kill odor plus..... if I have to I'll run it LIGHTLY through the chemical feed and clean with it..(regular kill odor) but lets get back to topic............"You need" works "We need" works better. try it.. Doug move your problem posts to another topic....we just want lines here..give us a few lines. |

Mr. Steamer this is not a topic it is a rip off. You know it and I know it unfortunately most homeowners don't know it. I will leave this post because I certainly would not want my name being any part of it.

You didn't have to post anything at all if you don't like the topic didn't your mother ever teach you...if you don't have anything good to say don't say it.. make your own new topic to show your views...don't do it in here |

not really upsell but: I have a "professional" spotter that I sell for $20.00 (946ML) and I often sell groomer/rakes for $40.00-$50.00 depending on how new it is. I get the "Grandi Groom Carpet Rake" for $25.00. So many people ask for them I try to keep a couple in the van all the time. |
