We are people first and foremost...........Business - people second.
What happens to us in the middle juggling the 2 faces is greatly dependant on our business skills and equally dependant on our people skills.
Find the answer and you will be on your way to making money.

Are you a business man cleaning carpets? Or a carpet cleaner in business?
There is usually a big difference in the profit.

Jack: Bad business administer. I don't mind admiting it. But I am learning from my past mistakes, and getting better in the process. The good thing about this is, when you basically have a great product or service that is in demand, and only have to manage it better, your fortunes can change almost overnight by bringing in the right people or partner to run it for you. Much tougher if you were just a fool though, because then you probably not got anything worth managing in the first place, or are to foolish to realize how to turn it around even if you do. lol

I think one has to know their limits. If you live within your means and limits you should survive. Everyone can't live the life of Mr. Steamer??

Franchising is the best way. The franchisOR makes mad money while the franchisEE makes a little money all the while thinking he's "in business for himself" One I know of, the salesmen and owner all drive luxury imports...the franchisee's ???? well their only CAR is the yellow van they drive around all day :)

I was making $43 per hour in the carpenters union in nyc & When I established my Carpet cleaning / Flood restoration business , I have alot more cash flow. Somebody who owns their own business and cant write a $1,000 check probally is one of those guys who doesnt know how to market or advertize. He could also be a gambelr or just a all around loser.

One major difference Jack...............
The Bad Business Administrator can get another job in another business and sometimes make more money in that one by learning from his mistakes. The fool will always be a fool and never learns from the mistakes already made. |

Hell aint that the truth. I Know you can be broke, but anything is better than working for 8 dollars an hour. I'm sure his standard of living is better than a shipper receiver.
We all have about the same disposable cash, no matter your income level.
Most self-employed people live of revolving lines of credit...lol
